Contributed by JB and JW, August 2004
This poem was written by James and Jon with the aid
of a magnetic poetry set, for the MagPo benefit held
by LitQuake (http://www.litquake.org), July 28, 2004.
Note: each space you see in the text line represents
where another tile begins. You'll note that for some
the "s" or "er" has a space before it--these were new
tiles. We are happy to report, the piece sold at the
silent auction portion of the evening.
must have s on a sordid road trip
the car is like essential
so is bedding
lust for leaving the frantic life behind
summer wind
a friend to dream with
a boy you are crush ing
enormous hair
white swim suit
diamond watch
sun dress
see through under pants
need less picture s of lake & sky
time to stop and ask why she is still bitter
you ly ing about the girl who put her leg near you
drunk juice for one
a meat pound er
light rock music
a place to chain his arms
tiny moments to recall
