MELANIE CASE (actor/writer) has been working in comedy for the past 10
years. She graduated in Theater from UCLA’s School of Theater, Film,
and Television. She studied improv. with Comedy Sportz and The Second
City Training Center in NY, and is the original founder of The Lunatic
Players (MA High School). She recently performed in a reading of

play Lamb and Jelly. She has performed in numerous shows in New York
off- and off-off-Broadway, understudied at Berkeley Rep. and produced and

co-wrote, co-directed, and co-produced a film about vending machines,
entitled Product. She teaches improvisation at ACT’s Young Conservatory.
You may also NOT recognize her (since no one has) from the recent
Toyota Prius commercial with former 49er’s quarterback Steve Young, in which
she plays a mime at a bus stop. For more on Mel, check out melaniecase.net.

Favorite line: “Foccacia?!” from KML’s Walks This Way.
