Sally Garbarini - Executive Director Sally first became affiliated with Killing My Lobster the old fashion way: starting as a fan, ushering a few times, then awkwardly hanging out in bars near the lobster performers. Since volunteering to produce a show with the group in 2002, Sally has produced four sketch shows with the group, a short film, and the 2006 new play Hunter Gatherers. Outside of KML, Sally worked for New Langton Arts, a multi-disciplinary contemporary arts organization, wearing many hats over 8 years—from administrative staff member to development officer to board president. Her next stop was BATS Improv, an improvisational theater company in Fort Mason Center, where she oversaw their financial activity. Sally is a Bay Area native (third generation, in fact) with family on the other side of every local bridge. Besides her love for the area, she carries a hearty commitment to creating high-quality original work for Bay Area audiences. Before landing in the San Francisco arts community, she studied art history at UC Santa Cruz.
