KML Takes A Cruise--which closed this past weekend to packed houses at the Brava Theater--truly made waves--complete with exercise-obsessed pirates, multiple sets of captains (including Cap’n Crunch, of course), saucy games of bingo and stupid stowaways. This Lobster show continues the fine tradition of maritime comedy from "The Love Boat" to Titanic. SF director John Dixon took the helm with a cast and crew of hardened KML veterans and swashbuckling roustabouts making their maiden voyage with the good ship Lobster.
The seafaring show was set to music by trumpeter Erik Jekabson’s jazz trio and you can expect everyone from the first mate to the deckhands to be looking good in stellar costumes aboard an incredible set. The show is over but thanks for checking it out and stay tuned for the DVD and film clips coming to this site soon.... |
