Following the closing of
Peter Sinn Nachtrieb’s Hunter Gatherers,
Killing My Lobster has two more productions
to round out our 2006 season!
Killing My Lobster Graduates Second Grade The 10 directors/10 scenes show! Conceived and orchestrated by Nick A. Olivero Written by Killing My Lobster Directed by Todd Brotze, Paul Charney, Joel Dovev, Tonya Glanz, Wylie
Herman, Sarah Mitchell, Nick A. Olivero, Nicole Socia,
Shaye Troha, and Jon Wolanske August 9–13, 2006 Theater Rhinoceros, San Francisco
In a one-weekend-only special event, Killing My Lobster presents a series of sketches—each one directed by a different member of the group!––involving a reunion of the members of Mrs. Wilson’s second grade class. Whatever happened to the school bully? The boy with the headgear and cape? The girl with all the Trapper Keepers? And where oh where is Mrs. Wilson? KML Graduates Second Grade is a poignant and pants-wettingly funny peek at our collective second grade experience, as we catch up with the kinds of kids we all went to elementary school with and attempt to answer the question: “Where are they now?” Killing My Lobster Faces the Music Our sketch comedy musical! Created by Killing My Lobster Directed by Andrew Bancroft Music by Olive Mitra and Andrew Bancroft November 3–20, 2006 ODC Theater, San Francisco
Those familiar with our sketch comedy productions know that we end each and every show with an original musical finale. This fall, KML presents a sketch comedy show in which every scene has a musical number. KML Faces the Music is a sketch comedy musical and funky valentine to life in San Francisco, circa 2006. Hipsters, hippies, high-class CEOs, the city in which they dwell, the adventures that unite them, and the crazy and hilarious songs that are all part of the soundtrack. Don’t miss KML’s first-ever musical! You may even be asked to sing along. To keep posted on updates on these shows--and to find out when tickets are on sale, etc.--please make sure you are on KML's email list! You can sign up by visiting this page. Thank you! |
