The homecoming of an intergalactic hero: a piece of chocolate, a pizza box, and a story for an infinitely expanding universe

The first Killing My Lobster film, Space Chocolate, was shot in one 19 hour saturday in DP Juliet Gray's kichen in the Mission.

Yes, the chocolate was inspired by Toblerone bars, but was, in fact, hand molded. The deep void of space was made of duvateen and christmas lights and not one, but two members of the crew cut their thumbs and had to go to the emergency room that day.

The film premiered at the first hi/lo film festival in San Francisco in November, 1997 and played at several festivals and centers for higher education including the Split Festival for New Film and Video in Croatia and the University of Oklahoma in Stillwater.

The film was written and directed by Paul Charney and Brian L. Perkins.
