The naked guy. Finally convinced to wear clothes in 2004, former Lobster performer, writer, and cultural producer James Bewley is currently the Director of Public Programs & Education at the UCLA Hammer Museum, Los Angeles. Prior to joining the Hammer, Bewley served as Program Director and visual arts curator for the San Francisco alternative space, New Langton Arts from 1999 - 2004. Trained as a professional cheesesteak eater, he's also performed with the Tony Award winning Theatre de la Jeune Lune in Minneapolis, and the avant garde theater designer, Robert Wilson in New York. He studied theater and Brown University and received his BFA in Sculpture from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1997. Email James at: bewley@gmail.com |
