Killing My Lobster, San Francisco’s biggest, baddest sketch comedy company, seeks an energetic, detailed-oriented, collaborative intern to work hard, have fun, and help us bring some serious funny to the Bay Area. Based in our offices in the Mission neighborhood of SF, this is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in getting hands-on experience with the day-to-day operations of a small non-profit sketch comedy company. Plus, did we mention the tacos?
RESPONSIBILITIES
Intern tasks may include:
Comedy production assistance, including preparing rehearsal materials, researching venues and attending shows
House management at select shows
Fundraising preparation and implementation, including grant research
Administrative tasks associated with the KML School of Comedy
Updating the Killing My Lobster website
General office organization and scheduling
QUALIFICATIONS
You:
Are organized with strong attention to detail.
Can get projects done with minimal supervision.
Have a bad-ass work ethic and excellent communication skills.
Can tackle any task - big or small - with a positive attitude.
Are excited to learn!
Times and dates are flexible for all internships. Internships are unpaid, but we can work with you to receive school credit for your internship.
