Killing My Lobster, the gang the press is calling "the hottest sketch group working in the Bay Area," presents a new comedy show just in time for election season: Killing My Lobster Goes to the Polls! Directed by Lobster co-founder Marc Vogl and accompanied by members of the John Ashcroft Junior High Jazz Band, this show is all about taking politics so seriously you have to laugh.
Sex scandals rock the third-grade as class President Kenny Thomas denies getting to "second base"; in a bid for the youth vote a failed candidate attempts to "pimp his election bus"; and the departments of Fish, Game and Wildlife merge with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms in a song and dance tribute to bureaucracy.
Killing My Lobster Goes to the Polls is funded in part by the San Francisco Arts Commission and Theater Bay Area's CA$H Grant program.
