KML is raising 20K in just one day!

Did you know that there is a theory that lobsters never die? It’s been hypothesized that, given the longevity of lobsters and the fact they never seem to stop growing, they could potentially live forever if only they were able to maintain a big enough exoskeleton!

Just like our namesake, Killing My Lobster continues to grow—and as we approach our 30th (!!) year in 2027, that immortality hypothesis doesn’t seem so wild.

This Giving Tuesday, December 1st, we are raising $20,000 in just one day to support an expanded programming schedule from 2026 to 2027, as well as Diversity in Comedy Scholarship and Fellowship programs, artist compensation, our School of Comedy, and our residency at Z Space.

Here are just a few ways you can help:

What do these donations do?

The funds we raise from Giving Tuesday will allow Killing My Lobster to:

  • Pay EVERY artist for their contribution to our productions.

  • Provide monthly performance opportunities for KML artistic professionals.

  • Support underrepresented voices in comedy by funding our Fellowship and Scholarship programs.

  • AND cultivate an environment for emerging comedic talent in San Francisco to experiment and develop their craft fearlessly.

By donating, you are investing in the local artistic infrastructure and building a comedy community that reflects the best of the Bay Area.
