All students and instructors are required to provide proof of vaccination and 1 booster before the start of any in-person class.
Please review our other COVID class protocols HERE. By signing up for this class, you are agreeing to adhere to these protocols
If it is deemed unsafe to continue classes in person, class may resume over Zoom.
Students should expect to spend 3-4 hours per week writing outside of class.
Attendance is a big part of our collaborative environment. Everyone's ideas matter and participation is the key to success. Please make sure that your schedule allows for in-class time and outside writing time.
KML cannot issue refunds for classes.
In the event of a class cancellation for any reason, course credit will be reapplied to another class of your choosing, with no time limitation.
In the event a student has to drop a class, KML can transfer course credit to another class within 6 months of the dropped class. In order for the course credit to be reapplied, you must notify KML at least 7 days prior to the first day of the class for which you originally signed up.
Transferring tuition credit will not be honored after the class has already started.
If a student misses two or more classes, they are automatically dropped from that session. The student is welcome to enroll in future classes, but their enrollment in the previous session will not rollover into the next session and the student will be expected to pay for the new session in full.
All students are expected to attend the final class read.
Note that classes tend to fill up quickly, as we keep the class size manageable to be sure each student has a full experience. The deadline to sign up for a class is72 hours before the class begins. If you wish to sign up, but the deadline has passed, contact admin@killingmylobster.comto be placed on a waitlist.
Killing My Lobster reserves the right to refuse admission to any class at our discretion.
